Become involved in this year's International AIDS Conference in Mexico

The Mexico YouthForce is getting ready for the next International AIDS Conference which will take place this year in Mexico City. How can you get involved!?
How can you start getting ready for the Conference?
1. Check out the Youth Site at www.youthaids2008.org! On this site you can write a blog to let others know who you are and what you hope will be addressed at the Conference! Or participate on the discussion boards!
2. Get Creative and submit your artwork on HIV/AIDS! What does HIV/AIDS mean to you and your community! To submit go to the homepage of the YouthSite!
3. Join the Mexico YouthForce listserv and receive important up-dates and YouthForce newsletters! Join via the YouthSite.
4. Spread the word about the YouthForce and its work in your communities!
5. Become a fan of YouthForce in Facebook! http://www.facebook.com/pages/YouthForce/8802473399
6. Check out the official Conference site- www.aids2008.org
7. Join the Live Chats! First one is taking place April 24th! http://events.takingitglobal.org/18121
8. Submit your photos to the photography contest on Flickr! http://flickr.com/groups/youthforce/

Hello every one, Am jane nambi the plan uganda youth representataive but at times i find it a problem to access the discussion board as it tells me that i must be logged in and yet when i log in it claims that the user name are already in their account.
How am i to go about that.

Umeko - There will be many different people attending the AIDS Conference in Mexico City - politicians, health workers, researchers, activists, etc. But there is also a Youth Program specifically for young people attending the conference, and of course there is the Youth Force - which is planning a pre-conference for youth attendees. You can stay updated on Youth Force activities by joining this TIG group: http://groups.takingitglobal.org/aids2008
Jane - Are you having trouble joining discussion boards on the youthaids2008.org website? Or on TIG?

As much as I'd like to attend the conference this year, I can't. So, I'd like to wish for its success and may all the participants be able to learn from each other, put forward their voices and bring back valuable learnings to their respective communities for constructive implementations.

If anyone will attend and is a little bit lost about hotel reservations or touristic activities, feel free to IM me as I'm trying to help people who are in that position.
