SEXUAL EXPLOITATION AND ABUSE HAS BECOME PERVALENT IN OUR SOCIETY TODAY. WHY?

ALOT OF YOUNGER GIRLS FIND THEMSELVES VICTIMS OF SEXUALS EXPLOITATION AND ABUSE BASICALLY BECAUSE OF SEVERAL REASONS:
1. AFRICA WISE, THE QUEST FOR ECONOMICAL IMPROVEMENT BY SOME GOVERNMENTS IN AFRICA SEEMS TO BE A FAILURE WHICH DEALS A SERIOUS BLOW UPON THE CITIZEN POPULACE. IN SUCH SITUATION WHERE ONLY A FEW ARE THE BREAD WINNERS, IT BECOMES EMINENT FOR OTHERS TO USE SEVERAL MEANS FOR SUSTAINIBLITY, IN THE CASE WHERE A YOUNG GIRL IS STRIVING FOR AN AVENUE TO IMPROVE HER LIFE IN TERMS OF EDUCATION OR CAREER IMPROVEMENT, THERE ARE SEVERAL CONTACTS THAT ARE ESTABLISHED
LETS TAKE THIS CASE AS A MEDIUM.
MARIA IS A LIBERIAN, JUST COMPLETED HIGH SCHOOL AND IS FORGING FOR COLLEGE, SHE APPLIES FOR SCHOLARSHIP IN ORDER TO CONTINUE. SHE IS TOLD TO PRESENT DOCUMENTS AND ATTEND AN INTERVIEW TO QUALIFY HER FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP.
MARIA GATHERS UP ALL SHE CAN, MEETS THE DIRECTOR EXPLAINS WELL AND FINALLY THE BOSS TELLS HER HE MUST SLEEP WITH HER BEFORE SHE ACQUIRES THE SCHOLARSHIP.DOWNHEARTEDLY SHE'S DISCOURAGE, BUT DETERMINGLY SHE GIVES IN JUST TO BE ACCEPTED, INDEED THIS IS SEXUAL EXPLOITATION AND ABUSE.
CAN THESE PRACTICES EVER STOP? IF YES HOW ?

That's absolutely disgusting to hear!
Yes it can be stopped.
It will just take a lot of work: To be able to make sure that sexual exploitation and abuse isn't going to happen, people have to be trained, checked out etc. Now that's not easy at all. There are some people who look like they're amazing human beings but have an underlying layer of um..."evil" I suppose you could call it. Cameras are a good way, they invade on privacy yes, but if all meetings are only held in the office and all sound/image is monitered you can pick those people out and say "this person is doing this. Lets stop it."
And then there is the problem of : will the guards be honest?
Anyone can lie, but it takes integrity (I think that's the word) to be honest. People who are trained and selected and have a good reputation elsewhere, good references etc. should do the job. Ok, so I went off on a tangent. The main point is:
One way to try and prevent it is to Monitor places. If not everywhere it will at least cease to be an issue in businesses etc.

Sexual exploitation is barbaric. I believe poverty is a key factor. Women, that is especially young girls are mostly victims of such unthinkable act. They often lured by 'bad' men under pretences of all soughts. Some wicked parents also give their children out to be exploited just for money. I believe partakers of such acts especially against young kids should be stripped of all their human rights and maliciously dealt without mercy. Cos if they have the guts enough to abuse a child in a such way then we all should also be bold enough to treat them as wild beast

I think of religion (demise of/ or misuse of), gender politics (power over), economy (capitalization/commodification of the body) and personal values are the major causes why such exploitations and abuses happen.
