basically i want to know what people think of this budding religion. read a bit of Anton LaVey's writing, and post your thoughts. btw, satanism has nothing to do with killing people or mass suicide, or any of that crap. that stuff is just sick. anyhow, i just want to know what people think of LaVey's writings, so post away.

LaVey simply does not know what he is talking about. Satanism is not a 'religion' in the sense of SPIRITUALITY ~ it is merely a following of the ways of the world. It is anti-Spiritual!

could you give me a website link where i can read more on it. i would really like to know more about it so that i can make informed comments on it

According to my understanding (which of course could very well be wrong) satanism is more like a way of thinking than persay a way to worship, which is what a think of with the word religion. It reminds me more of a philosophical motif of sorts, like existentialism.
