The rain forests

Almost two acres of rainforest disappear every second. Our reliance on fossil fuels feeds not only the destruction of pristine areas, it also creates air pollution and global warming, and contributes to economic and regional instability around the globe.
You can help turn the tide through simple online actions...
VISIT THE RAINFOREST SITE
http://www.therainforestsite.com/home
With a simple click, you can save an area of rainforest land -- every day, for free. Just visit http://www.therainforestsite.com/home and click on the "Save Our Rainforests" button. That's it!
So far, visitors' clicks have preserved more than 9,000 acres of endangered forest around the world. Funding is paid by site sponsors -- there's no cost to you.
TAKE THE GREEN RIBBON PLEDGE
http://www.greenribbonpledge.com
The Rainforest Site operates the Green Ribbon Pledge, where you can select easy, energy-saving practices that fit into your daily life. The site then calculates your energy savings, and the total for all those who've taken the pledge. Join the effort to cut our reliance on unstable and environmentally harmful energy sources!
PASS IT ALONG
Visit The Rainforest Site every day. Take the Green Ribbon Pledge. And help get the word out (forward this email) about how simple online actions make a WORLD of difference.

It's true that the human race has slowly become heavily dependant on the world's fossil fuels. The problem is that in this technological way, we have become more reliant than ever. We have forgotten that with some small prcautions, we can still walk to and fro. Everyone is so paralyzed by the fear of society that they forget that it is fear that can harm it the most. I suggest walking walking or riding a bike instead of diding in a car during the summer(within reasonable distance). Also try to use public transportations or carool, more peolple get to their destination without each having to go in seperate vehicle(creating more pollution). As gross as this next suggestion may seem, try it. When going to the bathroom (W.C.)don't flush unless you go poo. Use it twice before flushing that way you can conserve more water. Everytime you have the instinct to flush, thinkof all the gallons of water being wasted on your bodily waste while many are dying of dehydration! Contact me if you want anymore tips.
