Child labour is unacceptable

Parents iof the industrial countries are happy to buy cheap clothes for their children produced by children of the poor countries. As long as the costumers in the industrial countries are not willing to pay fair prices for goods and as long as companies maximize their profits without ethic standarts we will see still child labour. Every child of this world has the right of its childtime and education. It is not the privileg of the children in the industrial coutries to be a child.

I completly agree! It's unacceptable that people believe they can sell another life away, especially one of a child that can't make a difference. That's why my role model is Craig Keilberger. Just like him I want to be someone who affects the world at such a young age and I feel Child Labor is something that deserves much more attention then it's being givin.

It's very true, and the majority of countries have signed the Children's Rights Bill and ratified it, it's just up to the rest of the world to push for its enforcement now. Everyone also needs to take the initiative to boycott companies which either activily and openly use child labour or turn a blind eye to its use from their suppliers.
