Are there moral failures associated with ICT?

ICT has no doubt revolutionalised they way people interact with one another across the globe. However, there are a number of demerits of ICT, prominent amongst which are the unprecedented number of children accessing hardcore ponographic sites; pedophilic activities and loss of traditional moral values. Do you think the benefits of ICT outweighs these emerging risks?

I think the moral failures can be mitigated by proper management of the ICTs. For instance, those sites could be blocked to control the access of such sites. A parent or an administrator in an educational institution can be able to do that. I also think, the users should be made aware of the effects of such habits/behaviours. Generally, it might seem not a hot debate at this time but with time it might end up becoming a disaster! ICT should be addressed hand in hand with the pros and cons and also mitigation strategies.
