[Poll] 24 Year Old cycles around Africa in aid of malaria

My name is Jolandie Rust. 24 year old South African female. In just over five months time I will embark on making my dream a reality. Starting June '08 I will be cycling approximately 50 000 kilometers , circumnavigating the African continent in aid of the fight against malaria and for the children of Africa. Every 30 seconds a child dies in Africa as a result of malaria.
I will need all the help and support I can get to make this happen. It is my aim to distribute one million treated mosquito nets. On route I will be conducting motivational and fun drumming workshop sessions with children from the villages we pass.
I call on the world to unite and help me , support this cause. I believe in the goodness of people. And I know I can make a difference, with some help.
"To live a life worth living and inspiring others in a positive way" is my mission statement in life.
