Most men and women masturbate. Masturbation is the body's way of reliveving itself from sexual tension. It is therapeutic, pleasurable and natural. It is essentially genital massage. General massage is stress reliveving and so is genital massage. While all people will not equally agree on the rightfulness and relevance of masturbation, the fact remains that it keeps us out of trouble, it relieves tension, every body dose it and it is very natural. Very often you read about rape and sexual molestation of sorts among civilians and the religious as well. From a psychological and local point of view, emaotionally balanced and sexually satisfied people hardly go around raping and molesting people. Masturbation helps period. Masturbation is normal sexual outlet. It save fron Hiv/Aids and other related diseases.

Very interesting topic, Reasearch has once criticised it as well as recomending it but now do remember that when oe masturbate he/she is relieving sexual tension meaning that one at one point fantasise having sex with someone else, which the bible condemn. So how do we draw distinction about this topic!

 but i have heard me dear friend that it has many side effects too, some says that it effects human memory( remembering power) it effects growth of genetal organs, weakens eyes sight because vitamins are consumed in production of sex cells.
according to my personal openion practicing masturbation is like addiction to drugs...... the more you masturbate the more will you be addicted...........
Nature has created some more natural way to satisfie these needs like in dreams . which is defenitlly according to need of body ........
another natural way is marrying which is the most NATURAL way. relaxing etc

for me it is normal as the human body needs to relieve sexual tension. I don't think the "cool" word is appropriate to describe it. And I do belive that this discussion is aimed to give light to such activity. So maybe why it there are so many posts in this thread.
So maybe others are not into talking about it and others are and for some indifferent. Culture varies and the perception to different issues and things also have a wide array of variation.
In a country like Nigeria where Christianity is the main religion, this subject matter is not really discussed often but is isolated among friends I guess.

Masturbation is normal . All guys do it. Some of them talk about it, some of them don't, so what?
You dont get STDs, You learn about your body, you just have to control yourself so you dont over-masturbate is a normal thing for normal people both male and female.

As far as I'm aware, these assumptions are all hearsay. The only one that is questionable is the release of endorphins upon climax having an addictive quality. However, the same endorphins are released when having sex, so would you obstain from that as well for your entire life?

I also want to point out, masturbation is not necessarily tied to rape and sexual abuse, which are often hate crimes and are more complex then just sexual frustration. Also, I believe it can be used as a useful youth abstinence program. Schools teach sex education, but rarely cover masturbation, which I think is a safe alternative to youth with a healthy sense a sexual curiousity.

I believe doing masturbation over and over, brings quick orgasm and have back impact for your future sexual climax. Take care, masturbation at all.
It is not encourage masturbation in islamic religion.

Masturbation Is bad and it is a habit that scientist have found to blight lives even after one might have ceased the habit, You find your self incapable of any relife in natural act. A chronic Masturbation stand the rsik of the inability to perform the sexual act naturally. This habit has been found to be harmful to brain . It has disastrous effects on both body and mind. Researchh shows that it has caused more deaths among European boys and grils . This can lead to disabi;ity insanity and premature death.Loss of sexual desire cause itching of the genitals and you stand the risk of having spinal irritation resulting in Epilepsy as a result of seminal fluid.
