World Environment Day, June 5th

Well, seeing as that tomorrow is World Environment Day... I thought everyone should take a look at myfootprint.org It'll tell you your national average but it will also tell you how much of the earth you take up. I found it really interesting. I got a result of 8 hectacres whcih is only .8 less than the national Canadian average. Oh well.. please let me know what you get!

Wow ... we only need 3.1 planets for everyone to live like me!
And to think that I was still 2 hectares less than the average Aussie (5.6 compared to 7.6) ... and only because I catch public transport or walk/ride everywhere due to not having a car!

Okay, I'm just a horrible person! My average is around 12.3! It's good that I found out this way though; I'll try and reduce my hectares as early as tomorrow - no more car rides to TIG office, I'm taking the subway!
