VASECTOMY( WHY OPPOSE BY SOME RELIGIOUS GROUP}?
December 14, 2007 - 08:32 PM

Vasectomy also known as males sterilization, minor surgical procedure perform on males to premanently prevent them from concelving a child.(Birth control}.
Vasectomies are more than 99% effective in preventing pregnancy, and they are a popular safe form of premanent birt control. Vasectomy does not affect man's ability to have an erection and ejaculation. The testes continue to produce sperm after a vasectomy, which are simply reabsorbed by the body.
This has become increasing in both the United states and Canada. It is also well accepted in many other countries. Nevertheless, Vasectomy is still met with suspicion or legal sanctions in some countries and some religious groups oppose it to the same ground they oppose all other method of contraception. WHY?

I think you should not try to explain Religion issues based upon scientific explanations.

Religions are based upon ethical principles, which are not necessarily connected to sociological or biological (or other scientific) studies. There are other aspects involved in this discussion, including beliefs in a superior power or a superior establishment of moral principles.

In my opinion, you should look at the moral system of a specific religion in order to find an explanation.
