The Power of Many can Power The Many!

Hello,
I am looking for as many motivated and optimistic people as possible to help me start a new project that I think has a lot of potential; and I could really use the support of everyone on here.
The idea was born out of the global economic crisis of the past 2 years. Everything that transpired; too big to fail, the bailouts, unemployment; made me think that what we really needed wasn't a bailout or investment in the large institutions that caused the collapse but an investment in all the people and initiatives that are going to create new opportunity's for people and rebuild what has been damaged. We have a chance to take action at a time when we can have the biggest impact on the lives of so many people around us.
Anyone who has started or been a part of a project or initiave knows that a lot of the time the largest barrier to entry is just getting the resources to get it started. I wish to leverage the power of social networking on TIG and Facebook to bring connections, support and resources to those that have great projects and ideas, and allowing the hundreds of thousands of people who are passionate about making the world a better place on TIG to play a part in it.
The best part about this group will be that anyone and everyone can join and be a part of it. The power of many can make a real, tangible difference with just a small commitment because each person puts in that same investment and all of a sudden you have something transformative.
I am going to start this group very soon so this thread can be where we can talk and discuss the project until the project page (and Facebook group) are made. Thanks everyone
