How do we get clean water all over the world?
June 2, 2003 - 11:22 AM

i will say it is impossible to get clean water in most countries of Africa.

Most government concentrate more on debt servicing than enviromental projects , so we need to address the problem of poverty before any other thing.

Although we do need to address poverty if we damage our world through polution, through poor drinking water or malnutrition as in much of Africa there will be poverty left to address, if we wipe out the impoverished populations or the land they inhabit. We can't forget that having any kind of life, even a life filled with suffering and poverty people need certaine basic conditions.

i agree with walesalami, it's true its significant to try to keep our water supply clean as possible but i doubt it's that easy to do, that's because serveral people don't care about our water supply so without their cooperation it allows the job to be more arduous. Not to mention, like walesalmi said about their government i believe our government in Canada is similar. They bestow their attention more on financial problems and forget about our enviroment more and more. Although there are many obstacles in our way, theres a possibility we may someday have pure water if we are able to find a way...
