I have been wanting to delete my account. I have contacted the member services group but haven't responded.
This is terrible service from TIG.

Maybe now your post will stir up the cauldron and you'll get a reply.
Just remember, they're busy people so I can see how it would take a LONG time to get a reply back on that. . .

I just wanted to let anyone who is interested know that I did terminate the account after coming across this Discussion Board thread. Sometimes there is a delay in answering our Member Services e-mails, we do try to get to them as quickly and efficiently as possible. But we receive a lot of requests through Member Services and have a limited number of Staff who can answer them. So our apologies for any delays, but thank you for bearing with us!

This is soo fcked up. TIG is worse than facebook. Really.
Is the only way we can get our account deleted is to breach the terms of service?
Okay, I'm going to "upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, pornographic, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable." I'd recommend you do the same too if you wan to delete your account.
