Clubbing; either hitting someone with a club (lol) or going out with some mates, getting pissed and going to clubs.

lolz, funny question. Either hittin up a club with some friends and havin a night out, or grabbin a large piece of wood, generally shaped like a baseball bat, though with a large end to it, and hitting somebody, or something, with it.
what does this have to do with art or media?

I've heard about clubbing from different perspectives. To some people its going to a club and getting drunk; to others its going to a club and just dancing and having a good time.

Yeah, I agree with what most people are saying. As a teenager the first meaning of clubbing to me would be going out to a nightclub to dance & mingle with friends & others. Second meaning [when I think of school/education] would be someone physically taking an object [such as a club] and hitting something/one with it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chantelle Ennis-Charoo

hi friends....clubbing is a medical entity which refers to the bulbous (parrot beak like or drumstick like) enlargement of the digits of hands and the legs or both. They actually reflect some form of underlying disease and serve as an important clue to a lot of conditions. They occur due to dilation of the blood vessels out there. They do so mainly due to lack of oxygen (hypoxia). Some common conditions associated with clubbing are heart diseases, any pus forming disease (suppurative disease..mainly of respiratory system), tumors (mesothelioma, bronchogenic carcinoma), disorders of liver (cirrhosis -occurs mainly due to alcoholism) and some gastointestinal conditions (inflamatory bowel disease) and any long term illness..it may sometimes be present from birth and of no significance.
