Hi!
I been reading all the great threads on here about music and I realised just how important music is to me. I would really love to know what music you like?why? and how it inspires you? I am a musician myself and I would really appreciate all replys....

I like root rock ragger musics and it inspire me to positively add to my world as per it's massages
Again I like gosspel musics, rock and blues

The same thing about me - I love roots reggae, especially Bob Marley.
I also like classic rock, blues, as well as indie rock and britpop.

I pretty much like everything minus country and rap, but there's SOME exceptions when it comes to rap, like Kanye West for example.
But I'm mostly into alternative, indie, pop, acoustic etc

i like emo punkish music. My Chemical Romance is my favorite band.
I also like country....which is a wierd mix..teehee.

I r4eally like almost everything, county, banghra, rock, rap, punk, emo light rock. I think my genre fits my mood which is right now more mellow stuff, adult contemporary like Annie Lennox, Snow Patrol, Damien Rice, Nizlopi, Travis etc.

I love oldies.... I grew up with my dad playing guitar and me sitting by his sight verynight listening to him singing it. then he uses it to taught my English pronunciation.
I love Easy Jazz and Swing... Kinda laid back and help me to relax with still energy...

Christian Praise and Worship Songs. they help to take me to the next level with God. Able to calm and soothe troubled heart. A great companion when rejoicing. a constant inspiration of how Great God is in my life.
oldies... I grew up with my dad play the guitar and singin these songs. Then he used it to practice my English Pronunciation
jazzy Swing... laid back, relaxing and able to add jiggs in life

It depends on my mood.
- When i am at a party, I like to listen to fast/rock music
-When i am stressed, or want to relax, I listen to slow music

'Rabindra Sangeet', the genre created by the Noble Laureate Rabindranath Tagore, is an exquisitely lyrical Bengali music, has the potential to feed every human emotions in the best possible way. I believe the Laureate can be honoured for another Nobel only for his profuse melodic contribution to the realm of music & our(the Bengali's) life .
It transcends one's life to spiritual level, by rich substantial lyric & a overwhelming melody.

my fav is country... born and raised listening to it... haha my older sister was even named after a country song...I've tried veering off into other genres but I always come back to country... my first love :P ... I'll listen to other stuff though.. I like pretty much anything thats mellow... anything too hard rock kinda gives me a headache

i like clasic rock, especially fromt the Vietnam war era. it has good beats, great messages, great lyrics, and awesome singers.
i also like Celtic. i don't know why, something about it just makes me happy and relaxed. it reminds me of Renaissance festivals, too, which i love visiting.
then there's Blugrass, which has a family significance to me and gives me a feeling of togetherness and being connected to my roots.
i like certain songs from a lot of other genres too.
