Independence

I wonder what you might term as independence; could it be the ability to have freedom to do what you desire or Free from colonial oppression?
Lots of countries are colonially independent but still have problems.
One of the biggest of them all is economical problems.
For a country like Zambia, that is more donor dependant, what could be the possible solutions to this problem especially among young people?
Kind Regards.

To me, independence means to be an individual. Not "one of them", but as one person with own thoughts and dreams. Independence also allow you to speak truly, act freely, and be happy.
