Share your views on Social Responsibility!

Corporate social responsibility, government social welfare programs, cross-border humanitarian assistance, traditional religious tithing, and private foundations all aim to help the less fortunate in each society. Where are there still major holes in the system? What partnerships need to be developed to better meet growing needs? Are there some good case studies that could be used as a model for other organizations?

Social responsibility!!
Social responsibility is the satisfactory feeling one can feel when making an added value for the community he/she acts and reacts with.
But now; there are some motivational approaches towards this manner like;
1- Social Marketing
2- CSR, Corporate Social Responsibility
3- Entrepreneurship
It's great talking about each of them from different appraches like:
(meaning, how to effective adopt/apply, what's the impact, ...Etc)
But mainly i'd like to address the third issue of ENTREPRENEURSHIP. It has now two tracks, (a.) Business Entrepreneuship, and (b.) Social Entrepreneurship.
It may be well know the first one, but for the second one; we have to highlight its main concept which is;
Socail entreoreneur:
is the one who recognizes the community problems and try finding innovative solutions with mutual benefits and more mobility towards the solutions.
To be Continued together, what do you think about what i am thinking? what can be our role to draw a unified vision for the CSR
is the social marketing issues? and more......

Well for me CSR is an imporatnt issue that should be focused on nowadays
I think it is each one responsibility no matter what is his position or where is he working, we should have the spirit of "one for all and all for one" we are a community and by shaking hands we can make a better tomorrow
I think we should find a way to make the government, NGOs and the private companies work side by side, in a complementary war to help the comnnunities. one hand alone can not do anything, we should have clear, unified goals towards which every one will try to reach this goal from his own placement.
let each one start by himself and make the first step no matter how it is small, we shall do whatever we can for the best of our communities

Concerning the CSR and how to advocate all stakeholders of the community o participate;
It's very important to address the benefits that each partner will gain, this is beside the community value:-
If we agreed that the main stakeholders in this process are (1)Govnment, (2) NGOs, (3) Priavte Sector, and finally (4) the youth themselves as the last is considered the main partner/target and also it's the driving force.
So, lets see the benefits of each group:
(1)Govnment
- it'll gain more trust and transparency toward its people.
- it'll keep a good role-model for good governance.
- it'll really develop its community with promising ways that have a positive impact on the community.
(2) NGOs
- NGOs' community will gain trust and public advocacy.
- will have a convinient justification for their exsitance.
- can play a role of sensorship for the executed projects and initiatives.
- will promote the idea of voluntarism among youth.
- will direct and activate the youth/youth groups to be involved more in the process of policy making as the youth have a kind contact/relationship with the civil community than the Gov.
(3) Priavte Sector
- will invest in more valid soil, i.e. people, to grow up with more revenues.
- will develop the skills levels in the people, the issue that will empower them to make things better, NOT the better things ONLY.
- will broaden the scope of investments.
- will guarantee the sustainability of investments, as the people themselves felt the ownership.
(4) the youth themselves
- will have wide space to express themselves.
- will feel loyalty and ownership of the community.
- will create new initiatives to develop more and more their community that they will love to live in and it'll be another way to keep "Brain Gain" and decrease "Brain Drain"!!
To be Continued......
