Wildlife and Environment
Teach your children that Earth is our mother. What ever befalls
Earth befalls the children of Earth.1 People are all the children of Earth in one way or another. Society has to look after our Mother, to make sure she will exist for future generations. Thus, Mother Earth cannot live forever. In many ways this statement is true. Humans don’t notice the beauty of wildlife and nature around them enough to enjoy it. Many individuals don’t know anything about environment, and yet, they already neglect it. Whether it’s cutting down an entire forest, littering or hunting down endangered species, mankind has ruined the natural balance of life.
The educational progrmas on television shows the pain and suffering of animals dying a slow death, forest being burnt and cut down, cities with garbage everywhere and pollution emissions filling the air. They all want to give viewers the same message: That the community should realize how at threat the world actually is. Citizens should realize endangered species are at the brink of extinction and should also be more conservative or the unrenewable natural resources we have. Humans should cut back on cars and walk instead. Save electricity by turning off lights and appliances when not needed, and save water by turning off taps when not needed and the world would be a better place.
Who knows where us, humans will be in the future? Will people have enough water, electricity or heat to last us for a lifetime? Will there be blue sky visible through all the fumes and smoke from vehicles and factories? And do you think other countries will accept our trash? Conservation, reducing, and recycling is the next big plan for the future. Together, we can do it. We can help make the world a better place for all.
Yet, there is another problem besides the polluting, littering and loss of natural resources. Since the dawn of mankind, people have always had a competetor for food, space, and habitat: The Animal Kingdom. Greedy, power-hungry human beings, sitting away in their lovely homes, not caring what the outside world is like. Animal life and habitats are being threatened. Many people adore animals and it would be a disaster if one of our beloved species go extinct just like the dinosaurs. The mass of ever-increasing human population has done a lot of damage to the Earth already. Do YOU think the Earth will live forever?
If humans disappeared today, the Earth would start improving tomorrow. If all the animals disappeared today, the Earth would start dying tomorrow.1
