The project purpose is to plan anti-stigma activities, create a youth-driven network, and involve youth in the mental health system.
The project partners are The New Mentality/Children's Mental Health Organization, the Regional Multicultural Youth Centre, St. Joseph's Care Group and the Children's Centre.
It is based out of Thunder Bay and there are two regional leaders who attended training in Quebec, and Toronto. There is a group of 8 who meet weekly at the Youth Centre to plan conferences, coffee nights, and concerts.
We are looking for volunteers!
