I think one of the things that has become an interesting topic to potentially debate is the role of the media. In the past year or so media has jumpe on a somewhat climate change bandwagon. How do you think they have impacted your views on climate change? Have they made you care more about climate change or do you just carry on living the way that you always have?

I think that some media has helped to bring climate change into our lives. I really admire what certain people such as David Sukuki and Al Gore are doing in the media to help us to understand and combat climate change.
At the same time, I think it's necessary to be conscious about what we see on television and in other media. For example, large SUV vehicles are common in the media, and became common right at the time our oil prices went up and climate change became an issue in everyday life. This, to me, has been one of the oddest and most startling things I have seen our media-driven, consumption-focused culture do.
Different medias have taken different angles on climate change, and I definitely think it's something worth talking about.

I believe as much as there has been awareness on effects of climate change on the environment and the society,a lot of efforts still needs to be put into focus by the media, the media should not only focus on this issue after a calamity has occurred, they can also focus on what we can do as individuals and a society to anticipate the changes we got no control over and how can we avoid those we got control over like planting trees.
