Yes, the ocean is absolutly essential for human life. All life came from the ocean. We get our water from rivers which run to oceans. We get fish from the ocean. If we did not have the oceans this earth would be a barren wasteland. I know i came off a little strong there but i cant stress it enough.

I do not think that the ocean is essential for human life because humans dont really like to drink ocean water. I think that if all else failed and there was no fresh water left then we would have to resort to drinking and using the ocean water to survive. As of now, I do not think that the ocean in essential to human life.

The ocean is essential for human surrvival. In certain areas of the land there is not water sources but the ocean. The people have to filter the water so they can drink it. Without the filtered ocean water there would be no communities living around it. Also, most of the food that we eat comes from the ocean. From fish to crabs many people can survive on sea food only. It is a large source of food for the communities living around it.

I believe it's extremely important to human life. It provides us with a large amount of food, water in some parts of the world, and is important to the enviroment overall.

Yes, I do think that it is essential. Some areas of the world that don't have running water need to live off of ocean water after they boil it to clean it. It may not be key to our survival in places like the US, or Canada, but there are parts of the world that need the ocean to survive, using it as both a food and water source.

Yes, the ocean plays a major part in everyday society. Ever since early civilizations the ocean and rivers and any water supply has been important to society. If we didn't have water then we wouldn't be able to survive.

Yes, the ocean is essential for human survival. Humans get water, food and a mode of transportation from the ocean. Humans can't survive without water, so we can't survive without the ocean.

Although we humans are unable to drink and digest the water that the ocean provides, I definitely think it is a key factor in human survival and how we live our lives. Not only does it allow us to capture hundreds of different species of marine life for food, but it also unites the world in a way unlike any other. Without the ocean, I do not believe that the human race would be able to survive for very long at all.

I don't think that the ocean is essential for human survival. Although we may obtain food from the ocean in the form of fish, what else do we recieve. We can't drink ocean water and it divides people across the world. So no, the ocean isn't essential for human survival.

I think that the ocean is very essential for human survival. Fish is one of the healthiest things that a person can eat, and that comes from the ocean. Also, we now have machines that can make the ocean water drinkable, so a lot of water in the future can be from the ocean. Overall, we need both of these things to survive, and they both come from the ocean.

Without a doubt, the ocean is essential for human survival. First, the ocean contains different kinds of fish that can be used for food. Also, water from rivers, oceans, streams, and etc. can be used for drinking water which is the most important aspect to survival. Lastly, water is a great way for transportation. If we don't have certain resources in our area, they can be transported using ships and water. Without the water, we wouldn't get many supplies that we need from foreign countries since we don't have them in our own country. For all these reasons, human survival would be much much more difficult if the ocean didn't help us.
