Can police arrest one in possession of condom?

Some Policemen always arrest girls with condoms and charged them for prostitution.
What do you think about this ?
Why using condom ?
Any age or group of people advicable to hold/use condoms?

the problem i see there is that maybe the prostitute will not use condoms again so that police can not arrest them for prostitution.
what do u think?

Why should a normal police man arrest another human being carring a condom, when has condom become a weapon?

wait. i dont get the point. is this a fact tha police are arresting women for possession of condoms? where is that? and why would condoms be equated to prostitution?

Where it is happen. i mean let me know the country name. i dont think that in any country this type of law implemented. Rather, normally Governments all over the world (specially developing countries) promote the use of Condonms to control the birth rate. as you discussed in this case, i think its individual act by the police man, not there is rule to search people and arrest those who have condonms.

One night like that, a STOP AND SEARCH policeman withheld a lady for holding condoms, expressly I knew it was an illegal action and such issue don't reach police station at all, only the policeman trying to use advantage of the girl desipte the lady some how potral what the police man charged her for. .

Yes you are very right, but is any age people surpose to having/holding condoms I mean is it reasonable for children to learn about condoms or is there any spcified age...

I think it's ridiculous to arrest them, they're doing the right thing, they need to have condoms to protect themselves. I think in this case, the citizens are being smart and the police officers are in need of something to do.

that is one of the wierdest things i've heard. ya, when did condom start being a weapon? it is her right to protect herself from STDs. and IF she was a sex worker, it is even more important that she use it.
as you have said, may be the officer wanted something else and he just needed an excuse to take her with him??

well, that is outrageous to say in the least. When has condoms been equated to prostitution?
why should someone who wants to save his/her neck be arrested or assaulted? it is really something to discuss about

how rediculous! bringing condom is not a crime! why should a woman be "tagged" as a prostitute if ever she brings one? it is there as a protection! if bringing c0ndom with you is an offense, then expect high rise in STD's!- wouldnt it be a more alarming situation?

I think that it's a safety percaussion. It would be better for men to carry them and always have possession of condoms, but unfortunetly, most guys don't do that. For a women trying to protect herself by having condoms shouldn't be a crime. Yes, it might be hard to decide wether its a prostitute or an average women...but no matter what, no women should be arrested on such a ridiculous charge.
