Swaziland's Absolute Monarch: Political Oppression?

Hello,
I am interested in what the members of the Swaziland country site for TIG have to say about the future of their country as well as non Swazis. I was born in Swaziland however left at a very young age however I have travelled back to the country off and on for extended periods of time and continue to follow the political, social and economic developments that appear in the news.
Lately I am interested in learning what the next generation of Swazis, that is the Swazi youth, have in mind for their country? What are the concerns of Swazi youth today? What do they think of the political, social and economic status of their country? Do they have any suggestions? What about the monarchy? I know that in the past the government and monarchy have made it difficult for Swazis to discuss and express their grievances towards the monarchy, however in this safe electronic environment, I am hoping to find out more about the actual realties, ideas and opinions of Swazi youth like me.
To all of you who are not Swazi, I am just as interested in your thoughts, however perhaps you would like to learn a bit about the country before you respond. It has a very interesting history. However here are some basics, it is a tiny country with a population of about 1.1 million, it is ruled by a King who is the last reigning absolute Monarch in all of Africa. That means, he pretty much has the last say in any political and non political developments that arise in the country. All political parties are banned except for one, which he has dominion over.
What do you think of absolute monarchs? Do you think that in 2007, this form of rule over people should still exist?
What are the benefits of this type of rule and for whom? What are the pitfalls?
Please feel free to post your thoughts, responses, and questions to this blog.
