You're right dear, if we have a positive thinking and mindset, we would be motivated to create a good classroom atmosphere.

I went on a program to Bali, Indonesia while I was in university through the(Bali Institute for Global Renewal)and I think it offered a great alternative to traditional lecture/seminar learning. I think learning based on experience is the most effective kind of learning. On the program we learned about the culture not just from books, but by visiting temples and local NGOs, talking with local students, business owners and community leaders, trying the local food and staying in home stays.Exploring a new culture not only helped me learn more about the world but also helped me to understand my own culture (and its strengths and flaws) more clearly.

A perfect school would be a place where everyone enjoys going rather than a place where everyone dreads going!

My idea of a perfect school is not too different from the American education system today. Though there are some changes I would like to see made. I believe that if a child WANTS to participate and engage in a classroom environment then they should have the opportunity to do so, but if they don't then they shouldn't have to. Students should be allowed to work at their own pace as long as they are being productive. As long as the material is being learned, it should be able to be done at the student's pace. I think this is important so that students may also engage in the social side of their education to promote social skills, sports, clubs, and school involvement to encourage creativity,self-worth, teamwork, and pride.
