Poetry competition supports anti-crime initiative
An online social networking website is supporting an International peace initiative by launching a poetry competition focusing on peace.
The Spiral Poetry for Peace competition organised by Spiraluniverse, encourages young people and adults to find and use words to seek harmony and promote peace. The competition also forms part of the London Week of Peace which is supported by the Metropolitan Police and Councils across London.
The winning poem will be used as the theme of a new interactive online peace campaign which will highlight local and international peace campaigns. The website will be launched on the 21st of September which is the International day of Peace.
The deadline for entry is the 4th of September. You can get more information or enter for free by visiting www.spiraluniverse.org.
