The real meaning of life is prasing God for every breath we breath, keep singing Halliuyah for the great things He has done for us and also showing love to every of His created things.....we do not necessary need to struggle to live, i mean on what we eat or what tomorrow will be....God is real meaning of life for those who understand and watch life from this dimension.

i believe the purpose of life is to discover what we are capable of. that's why some of the happiest people are continually testing themselves--mountain climbers, writers, artists, those who sail across the world. too often we settle for what is easy instead of fufiling our potential.
“The greatest waste in the world is the difference between what we are and what we could become.” - Ben Herbster.

Life, nomally,is a process everyone live, also a happening and works we experience. but i think, as we cannot the same life compare with others, life cannot be defined by same meaning. therefore, the real meaning of life varies with who you are, where you are from, what you like or what you have experienced, etc. however, we do not know what the wonderful life really mean, we can live with happiness and smiling. can't we?

I said this on another thread: Scientists have determined the universe is about 14 billion years old. Homo sapiens have only existed for the last 200,000 years. The earliest example of a written language is about 10,000 years old.
We are all incredibly lucky to be alive at this brief moment in the universe's history when we have sufficient intelligence and ability to control our own destiny.
Killing each other over the exclusive possession of some "true religion" or some piece of land is really a waste of our time here on Earth.
I think the meaning of life is to appreciate and enjoy our brief time here on Earth. Whatever makes us happy (and doesn't harm others) should be our goal. I have learned that the greatest happiness comes from making others feel happy, and then hearing the words, "Thank you very much."

Life has whatever meaning you choose to give it. I don't know, nor do I feel anyone does, if there is some divine plan or purpose for us. I think that people can believe whatever they wish to believe because in the end, no one can be really certain. All we can do is have faith in what we think is true and remain open to other opinions. By this philosophy, life can mean whatever you'd like it to. For some people, life means god; for others, life means work, or family. In the end, it doesn't really matter. We will end up where we end up... the conclusion of everything is not really certain.

The Real Meaning of Life is :
Life is from Almighty Allah
We should praise allah with every breath we take. and shall feel thankfull to allah for his such beautifull life in this beautiful world.
Secondly, life is like a Phase of Exam for Humans if we act good and pray allah the almighty we will have a more better life after this life. else if we dont act good according to our beliefs then we shall not have the second life after death.
Thirdly this life is full of all those living and non-living things / creatures which are created by almighty allah. so, we shall accept his perfect creation and praise him.
Live your Life for you have to Live it for your coming Life !

This is really the mindset I have problems with. I am happy you find meaning from your religion. But I wish people would spend more time worrying about THIS LIFE, instead of a hypothetical AFTERLIFE. There is the very REAL likelihood that there is no afterlife (afterlife has never been observed anywhere). Time spent on religious pursuits may well be a waste of time. The only things that are immortal in this world are knowledge and art. They can live on past our lives to benefit future generations. I think the pursuit of knowledge (history, science, academic studies in REAL academic fields) and the arts (literature, visual, etc.) will really enrich our lives and make the world a better place for future generations.

Dear prieten47
I have said what my mind is set to. and i appreciate others to discuss this issues. i think that you said so coz you have no religion. or may be i am wrong. you said : afterlife has never been observed anywhere Have you ever observed your Soul ? Have you ever Observed the creation of your Body and mentality? Have you ever Observed the real meaning of this Life?
Why are you given this Life to Live ?
Why are you supposed to Live in this World?
How is it possible that you are Born without any reason ?
How is it possible to Live in this world for no reason? I think its hard for you to answer these questions!
Now if you think with your Self and answer all these question and let me know about your answers.
After i get your Answers i will discuss with you more about this issue.
