 Hey all
Tom and I, Gareth, Went to the map2020 thing last night and it was quite interesting. Above all of the taking mints and such we found that alot of the other map 2020 groups wanted some sort of "hub".
Cant say we didnt warn them!!!

ok lets see -
what were the actions...
write to council to get support
Who: who we writing to - CEO/youth rep councillor
What: what is it we propose - Propose a campaign to seek local interest in youth space
Why - recent consult Map 2020 - figures
Where - promote & publicise all over Mt Alexander
How - we need a letter of support from council supporting campaign, access to council space to run meetings for free, use of council logo on publicity docs
Wer need to bve clear about what we want at this stage - tangible stuff

good idea
we should call it and invite the sub commitee of the Mt Alexander Youth Affairs Network (MAYAN) that is looking at youth space
I dont think they have made a time yet for their next meeting
The next MAYAN is on Wed 1st 3:30 -4:30 - when i get the agenda I will post it on hher cause I dont know where the location is
Do you guys have a preferred days or time

I have a Myspace profile dedicated to youth projects. I basically add as many youth organizations and projects on Myspace as I can find, so it becomes a resource. I have profiles from all over the world, including Australia.
