Olie a little push is not what I would call it. If you had of just had a chat and then left it alone that is a 'little push but the letter of reference, then calling them to make sure I got in - that's a little above and beyond the call.

no sweat mate… you would do the same for me. Getting it back to the whole Social entrepreneurship line, I would love to be powerful and have money I could get so much more done. But I don’t so I do what I can where I can.

Well that is a good point, what can you do if you don't have powerful and have no money. Does a social entrepreneur really need all that much money or power? I do agree that when you have the money & power it makes it a lot easier but what does a smile

I am not that good! Its quite simple the general idea is ‘do what ever works’ Mate, most of what I have to say on the mobilising of others and getting communities organised is in the Volunteer’s Guide to the Galaxy (sorry about the shameless plug for the web site). Projects that I have been up to well I went to PNG over Christmas I did some really good stuff there with the coffee industry corporation. I am also doing a lot of work online at the moment. You know like mentoring people and helping the odd tech project out with some advise. Nothing to globally significant or anything but just trying to do what I can. Have you been up to much lately?

No I don't expect you to write the 'Social Entrepreneurs' Manifesto' how although it would be a good idea for a book *. Ever thought of writing one? A lot of the content on vg2gis quite good.

I think this seemingly simple yet very interesting query calls for varied answers.

To become good in whatever endeavor involving society, we have to go back to basics: honesty, integrity, etc. These I believe are indispensable virtues to become good entrepreneurs of whatever nature and sphere.

Well I guess I just picked them up along the way, I wrote a lot of the content when I was in Central America in 2003-2004. Its not that they are new ideas by any means it's just all the stuff that I have been thinking of over time. I hope that it helps you and anyone else that is looking to do any form of Volunteering. If I could stand still long enough I would better reference all of what I have done.

well I don’t know what to say… I have always thought that people that had their own wiki page looked a little self obsessed I didn’t think that I was really significant enough to be put in Wikipedia. looks like the usual suspects in wiki world are going to delete it. so i guess that it is all good.
