Your Super-Power ability and why?

Seeing the latest super-power movie "The Fantastic-Four" that just opened in theater this weekend. And also Judging from the many super-hero movies at the theater this summer got me thinking about this prospect. I am just curious about the kind of super-power we ordinary people would like to have and most importantly WHY?
Personally, I would love to have a wealth and health giving ability. Will give anything to witness the look and joy in these poverty and sick ridden people's faces when they are rescued and their health restored. Oh well, this is my fantasy and let me know yours and please be true to yourself.

Nina,
I'll give you a Fantastic Four:
Google "Tank Man" and for you TIGgers living in China, 1989 Tinamin Square, Peking during the student uprising in June a young man who no one knows stood down a line of Tanks and probably helped to bring about a democrazation there.
Martin Luther King, even though he knew he would probably soon die (I, too, some times see the futher) kept on protesting the Jim Crow Laws that plagued the United States.
Ghandi, the nice little well educated man who stood up againist imperialist England and not only helped to free India but also brought about changes for the better for England.
Abraham Lincoln, even though he did not exactly set out to ban slavery in the US, the southern states (growers of cotton and tobaco) feared that he would out-law slavery so they declared sussesion from the United States, but for a war tactic he declared freedom for the slaves in the Confedaret States then at the end of our Civil War he declared slavery illegal in all states for all time.
There are many more. Like Nelson Mandela

Very interesting thoughts George,
please allow me to add Nelson Mandela to the list of your "Fantastics" *
This man lived to see the outcome of his dreams come true, after his long and terrifying experience with the Aparthied regime in the Robben Island...

I love these real Heroes and there Super-Powers. I think Compassion is the best power anyone can have. True compassion for people can spread in small ways, but be something very big. Such as the person in the bus, you give your seat up for. These things spread. Compassion rather than a negative view of everyone getting in each other's ways.
I know many positive, compassionate people spreading joy in the world. Not famous people. Names you may not know, but those who help others.
As far as a "Super-Power"... I've caught a few episodes of Heroes a TV show online with a friend. There are so many intriguing powers. I like one character's healing power. He seems to have turned out to be a troubled character. My theory is because he realized he can't fix people and the world with a healing power, which might be the hardest part of having that healing power, but it would still feel so great to be able to go around the world and improve the quality of so many sick people's lives.
If not a healing power, I would like the power to give people a second chance to have an open and understanding mind. So that more people might get to know each other and therefore care for more people and their differences in the world.

One week running, then leave it alone and see what happens. No rules, no points, no structure, and no forum. Ask all your friends to post blogs and threads and reposts. And even start threads on the wrong boards.
