Iraq or USA: What country would you prefer to live in???

You are probably aware about the current situation at Iraq.
Which Country could you like to live in?
I would obviously choose Usa. I don't want to wake up finding a part of my house missing due to a bomb raid. Or, I dont want my younger siblings hearing various gun shots near my neighbour-hood. Iraq wouldn't dare to go to America and bomb there communities

I feel that it would be much better to live in America because it is a far more powerful country that would be able to better protect their people. You would also have the right to speak up and to follow any religion and live in a less comunist country.

Actually I'm glad I don't live in any of those two countries (no offense)... the situation in Irak is a little more peaceful now... but I wouldn't want to live in a military governement (such as the American one in power now... even if it's obviously much less tyrannical than it was under Saddam Hussein)... and I wouldn't want to live in an Islamic Republic (which Irak might become... who knows ?).
I wouldn't want to live in the US because of all the guns (maybe it's "Bowling for Columbine" that made me paranoid... but I'm glad to live in a country where people don't have guns) and the current administration (Bush and the new courts he has set up where you don't even have a lawyer, arbitrary detention in Guantanamo, abusive internet surveillance, death penalty in some states - with Texas killing more people than Saudi Arabia -, the KKK which is now allowed to burn crosses on people's lawn in the name of Freedom of Speech... and so on).
Even though the situation in my country is far from being perfect and there are many things to criticize here too... I'm glad to live here and not in Irak or the US.
