Describe the ideal leader

What personal qualities would he/she have? What would he/she support? What would he NOT support? How would he/she deal with issues affecting your nation? There's no right answer, although hopefully there will be some good ones... Answer in as much or as little detail as you wish.

The most quality a true leader must posses is the ablity and conviention to serve others and not waiting to be serve by others.

William,
a nice topic!
A good leader, according to conventiona ltheories, has to have certain characteristics such as openmindedness, intelligence, competence (in the domain concerned), vision, etc.
Some recent research showed that also compassion (about employees), passion (about work, company and vision of the company), and flexibility/capacity to adopt (i nthese turbulent times to outside conditions) are essential qualities of a good leader.

An ideal leader is someone is willing to serve than to be served. An ideal leader should be creative and be a very good mediator. He should be inspiried in taking his organisation to greater lenghts and overall should be self sacrifing

An ideal leader -
thinks deeply, moves steadily, follows their heart -
sees the game 5 moves in advance
knows how to communicate honestly and with charisma
understands balance, and understands that they will be pulled in every direction.
Has vision for the future, and is practical in their pursuits
as Matisyahu says - has their "feet on the ground and their head in the clouds"
