should schools provide "real world" expiriences?

I belive that there should be some expiriance in a given area, so that the students will be able to understand how there education will help them on the job. In my own line of work it is imparitive to have some idea, not on paper but in rality, of what to do in differnet situations. if i didn't know what to do when someone had a sizure or other problem i would be out of a job. This is only on instance in which school was able to help me in a job sinario.

i agree, IceDragonPhoenix in some areas of education, there would have to be experience for us to truly see how situations are solved, or how we overcome the problem. yes, knowledge can help us to learning much of the circumstances, however, with the addition to experience i think that everything we learn, it would have a strong memory. by expereincing many things, we would learn more and actually know how it feels in real life when we come to overcome it
so my final statement is that i think school should provide experiences in some courses throughout the learning community in the present and future society.

I agree that we need to get out in the ''real world'' for experience in certain areas. However, i feel that elementary and highschool educate us on the basics of areas. It is once we go to higher levels of education that we can get more hands-on experience in certain feilds of expertice.
