underdevelopment of africa
Nov 17, 2003

The institutionallisation of corruption as culture in Africa by as a result of greed and avarices by the visionless and undertermine African leaders , is the major obstacles to Africa development and not undue interference of former colonial masters or foreign countries or leaders.

In my opinion experince is more important and more useful.
Because you can know most of things but it is not very useful if you have not had any experience.
If you lived something, you have knowladge and experiences smile

I rely on the combination of knowledge and experience to get me through the day. Limitations of one, knowledge, can more easily be made up for by reading, research and learning. I admire the people that work hard to extend their knowledge as the public sharing can accelerate the process.

Experience far out weighs knowledge I believe. Lol so says the Knowledge Seekershocked Examples "Ignorance is Bliss" once you have the knowledge it is very hard to ignore the realities, there are many things in my life I wish I had never become aware of, than you have moral and ethical problems to deal with. Knowledge also brings complexity, and the universe is based on the Kiss principle " http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KISS_principle " the vast majority of the Humanities and the Environmental issues can be directly traced to society's complexities, ie consumerism, religion, and politics. Mankind does not need to know the composition of air, to know he/she must breath it to live.
This been said, Real knowledge is a hard thing to find, structured Education is based on Societal Needs and Beliefs, It is a required piece of paper to gain employment, but that's all it is. It forms a basis but requires experience to implement it to a satisfactory conclusion.

I think this is a very good discussion
and already many scholars have given the good reflections on it.

Knowledge is a familiarity with someone or something, which can include facts, information, descriptions, or skills acquired through experience or education. It can refer to the theoretical or practical understanding of a subject. Again, experience comprises knowledge of or skill of something or some event gained through involvement in or exposure to that thing or event.

Indeed, knowledge and experience are both the back of the same coin. They are inseparable. One cannot be existed without the others. Both of them have a enlightening role and the consequent result is the modern world.

I believe knowledge is more important because it shows us what we know and understand from sources,be it education ,or other books, magazines, newspapers, or by just taking a stroll outside and observing the nature. smile

An information becomes a knowledge, only when we experience it in real life. A knowledge becomes authentic and first-hand only by experience. Possession of great information can make you a great scholar but not knowledgeable. Blend your information with experience and then you create what is truly knowledge.smile
