i have seen many cases where women are involved in disgracing, abusing and discriminating women.
in mother in law, she compells her son to treat the wife harshly,
most important of all, male spuse is not targetted that much for a girl child as much a female spouse is absued in result of giving birth to a female child.
male and female discrimination is very common is most of the societies, because of the social and cultural values, a change, a pleasent one, however, is taking place. and people are changing their attitude.

In my country, the USA, I don't see physical abuse between women very often, but I do see a lot of emotional abuse.
It is very common for women to then grow up believing that they are inferior. They believe that the terrible things said to them were true. They believe that the terrible things done to them were deserved.
They are never true. They are never deserved.

I think we must remember that women, whether daughter-in -law or mother-in-law, are part of the same society that we live in. We all tend to repeat what has already gone on in this society for so long. (This is not to justify violence against women)
Most of us live in patriarchal society where man has the ultimate power. Most women do not have equal rights in their own family, as compared to men.
So what do men do..when they see the woman's rights getting violated in thier home?
Can we really believe that a grown up adult is so helplessnes that he cannot defy his mother when it comes to violating the othe woman's (his wife ) rights?
When we are adults, we are responsible for our actions.

This issue is also true in Vietnam, as fas as I know. Not only between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, but also among female employers and female employees, of course partially.

Yes. Women who are anti-women will always abuse women. Meaning, those who think that they are superior than other women tend to abuse the latter.
Our President is a woman and I don't have to say the rest of the story.
