This war has really effected me.Being a muslim is like a insult now.People look down at you. They blame you for a mistake that you did not commit.I feel that it is wrong and unjustified. It's as if the whole world is agianst me.Should muslims be treated this way?

Being blamd forsomethig you did not do is not fair

I agree with aishaA. It is not fair. Blaming things on muslims is not fair. one muslims does something wrong and all muslims are blamed. All muslims are not like the people who did wrong. Muslims all think for themselves. It is not like all muslims have a one tracked mind. muslims are people who think for themselves. If people keep on doing this they dont know what they're doing. They kno they're wrong still they do it.

being muslim

Don't feel bad guys, here in America the American Nazi Party is in power right now (the republicans) and anyone who isn't white AND rich is a potential enemy which means almost EVERYBODY. get used to ignorance it is part of the human condition. But rest assured there is nothing wrong with being Muslim anymore than there is anything wrong with being human, it's just some people think the whole world is about them and everyone else with a different point of view is a threat to them. These people are very insecure about themselves so they have to make you feel bad because deep down in their hearts they know they are cancerous malignant tumors waiting to eat at their own souls. Remember always consider the source.

aishaa --
i think it's sick that people treat you and your fellow the muslims the way they do and i wish there was some way that people could take off THEIR OWN VEILS and stop treating muslims and arabs in general with such disgust. i live in new york, right outside new york city, and was appalled by people's reactions tied to september 11th. a few days after the 9/11 attacks, a plane taking off from JFK int'l airport crashed right in queens, ny (where the airport is) due to engine failure. but the media posed the story (before we knew it was an engine failure) as if it were anohter terrorist attack. i had a friend who lost her best friend's mom on september 11th and then feared she lost her cousins when the plane crashed in queens since they live only a block away from teh crash site. when i spoke to her that day, i didn't even thikn the words would come out of her mouth, but they did..."i hate all muslims," she proclaimed..."look at how they're all ruining my life!" i was shocked and appalled, but i didn't tell her that i disagreed with her strongly...i didn't want to make the situation more emotional for her than it already was, and now i regret that. i just couldn't believe she said that...she is one of the nicest girls i know who would NEVER say she hated anybody. i was so confused...so completely confused by that comment. what happened to the brooke i used to know?
i wonder how many people feel the same way, and all i can do is take pity on them. i pray that God's compassion will teach them to love everybody else without limits...but i fear that too many people have closed their minds off to the rest of the world. isn't it ironic...as the world becomes more globaized and open, people's mindsets are becoming more closed than ever.
the only good thing about the propaganda coming out of the war in iraq is that i hope people will see the pictures of iraqis rejoycing and kissing american soldiers and learn that it is possible to love your supposed arch nemesis.
i wish i could apologize for all americans, or westerners in general, with such a closed mindset, but i know i can't even begin to compensate for a civilizations shortcomings.
i hope all is well right now.

I think that muslims shouldn't be treated this way because it is wrong. Some times muslims take revenge, which is wrong.

The reality in todays society is that people think that because one person of a certain decent is a horrible person, that everyone of the same religion or backround is just as bad as them!
