That's the number of people oficially and unoficially reported as dissapeared in Colombia inbetween one of the most cruel armed conflicts seen nowadays. These people are being found because trials against paramilitary forces leaders have now begun and their confessions, either for practical purposes like getting less time in jail or for human causes like regret, are leading authorities to find hundreds and hundreds of people who could not see their families ever again.
The cruelty and the terror that characterised these deaths are causing a lot of controversy, pain and horror in Colombia.
Some people say that the role of the media has been an irresponsible one in this case, some others think it is the only way for people to understand the horror of this conflict.
Whoever reads in spanish in this community is invited ti read this terrible chronicle and add an opinion or comment to this thread.
