Between France and Nigeria

On April 22, France, like Nigeria, conducted elections to determine the country’s next President. The build-up has not been as rancorous as ours. We can go on and plead the age of our democracy to justify the obvious dysfunctionalties in our electioneering process as against the French model, that will, however, be running away from reality. The French are as human as we are. Indeed, they have a less serious approach to religion and do not see themselves as saints as we do. Yet, there was no bloodshed on election day. There were no polling centres in the houses of political players.
No one focused on rigging out the other in the polls. Opinion polls in France are not based on the condition: "if elections are not rigged."
Projections are based on the issues and the history of the candidates and not the federal might or the ability of godfathers to manipulate results. That is what makes the difference between a society ruled by sane leaders and the ones governed by men, who are just a little better than rabid dogs.

Yes because France never allow any room for political godfathers
In Nigeria case, leaders are first of all must settle with their political godfathers which will equally help them to know/clearly see that they can embessel public funds without querry. I mean this is the brain child of violent durring election/politice.

France is a much older democracy and went through a bloody revoloution in thier quest for equity. I know we have no excuse and we have a recent civil war in our past that should act as a detterent to violence. We really should pick the best examples from what the world has to offer combined with a sincere wish to better lives and just do the right thing........
