[Poll] Are we not being strict enough for high schools?
April 11, 2003 - 10:22 AM

High Schools are becoming more and more "bad". The number of kids using drugs is increasing not decreasing. More kids are smoking, more kids are swearing and because kids are having too close relationships when they are underage they are having abies when hey are 14 or 15! I think this might be because it can't be stopped the way they are trying to stop them right now. All they are doing right now is suspending them for a couple of days. I think that this is not a good way to solve these types of problems. Are we not giving them something like a holiday when we suspend them. When the kids that do bad things get suspended they are almost happy because they get to miss school. Now they don't need to play hoockey to skip school. they can have a fun time outside. They are at an age where they think that they must be doing the right thing and that everyone else is wrong. They won't care about the future. We must make them care or else they will be spoiled and they will commit the mistake they made again. India for instance has alot of smart people these days. I think this is because their main course is to study i think that we should try to study more seriously like them!
