I want to suggest again that we need a chat room for live discussion among members about current and other world issues.
Secondly, i want to suggest that we institute let say " the Personality of the week" for people who would make the most contribution on issues but very convincing and impressive contributions. something like that, will even make members to connect to each other easily and hence promotes idea sharing.

Hmmm very interesting! Thanks for posting  TIG did hold "Live Chats", but I didn't know how that went. You can talk to "cupofteaforme" for more info about the older chats...  Does anyone know how that went?

The Live Chats are held every few weeks/months for different topics - and they are usually very lively!
However, having a general open chat room means we would have to have someone moderating and monitoring it 24/7 - it may be a good idea for sometime in the future but as of right now we think it's more important to encourage discussion in the discussion boards, where everyone can see it and participate without technical restrictions, and no matter what timezone they're in
