This what i heared from the news....
The war started because Iraq was because they are (IRAQIs) are producing too much weapons that can cause mass destruction!!!

From what i have heard, the United States had suspections that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. The United States then sent US weapons inspectors into Iraq, but Saddam wouldn't let them do a complete search. Bush then gave them a time limit to give the weapons inspectors permission to do a full search of the country or else they would disarm their regime. And obviously they declined to let them do a full inspection.
