Save Our Water!
April 10, 2003 - 09:28 AM

Though it seems we have a lot of water, only 9% of it is usuable. We our one of the nations who has one of the greatest water supplies but we don't have the most in the entire nation. The pollution is a facter to our water not having a higher amount that is able to be used. More and more cars are being used which increses the pollution in which affects our water quantity. If this wasn't true than why would the government want people to pay to go on the highways in the near future. We aren't the only country in which has pollution as a problem. If we were, than why are we acknowledged to have a lot of clean water in the world. The reason why other countries are affected is because the advancement of technology increases by each year, which concludes to higher population. This is a result to a higher amount of cars on roads. This problem is being adressed, but not to the extreme. In our society, battert operated cars available, but aren't taken of an advantage. We should really acknowledge the fact that our clean water will not last forever. A fact that is preventing it from happening is pollution. There should be a stop to pollution. It is preventable, but no one is taking the time and effort to stop and think before they use their cars, or factories find a way in which they can stop puttin pollution in our air. In return it comes right back at us. Nothing really leaves the world. It is returned back at us in a cycle. I believe the youth now is the next generation and we should have a say in which how our water is used.
