The MDG's goals are very good plan towards making our world a better place. But a careful study of the document shows that the developers were not real with happens of the world.

Here are the eight MDG's:

>Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger.

This cannot happen by 2015 because of trader differences and subsidies giving to farmers in the west. Open the markets and encourage the poor nations. My verdict is that it will take 2040 to happen.

>Achieve universal primary education

Another long-term projection. Only if there will be a government that will rule with force. If that happens we will have RIGHT ABUSE CASES TO DEAL WITH. verdict can be achieved in 2025

>Promote Gender Equality and Empower women

This can be reduced in Africa up to 35% in the 2030

>Reduce Gender Mortality

This can be reduced in Africa up to 35% in the 2030

>Improve maternal health

Ok this can be achieved but by a certain percentage.

>Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases

Can be achieved in 2020.

>Ensure environmental sustainability

Sure this can be ensured "but"

>Develop a global partnership for development.

Where there is Political will sure it will be done.

The achieving of the MDGs depends on our governments commitment. The time limit is not an excuse, NO EXCUSE, because it can be done and it will be done.

It depends on which country? Here in Kenya the Universal primary education which is MDG number 2, is being felt at all corners of the country after the government implemented Free Primary Education. Right now the government is working on free secondary education. It also depends on the commitment of the citizens of the concerned country.
