The world has counted more than many million years, and many vents are happening in the world.
Can any one tell me where are we going?

I hope WE are headed out into the Universe. Even though I do not think WE will find life anywhere untill WE return to the same Worlds WE will have seen a million years or so latter.
george
P.S. I don't think WE can go until WE wipe out Hunger and Ilitarace World wide Forever.

Unfortunately many taught that one day after the judgement WE will visit the awaiting paradise, and they have guided their belts for that never coming day. but I sincerely larmenting that there is no way WE are going only for us to make the earth like heaven as the saying said "father let your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven" and nothing else, the earth has been given us for our own paradise and it left for us to claim it....hmm heaven is unimaginable place and likwise God has given us every thing we need to make our own earth just as heaven, a place where hunger, hatred, poverty, discrimination, tribalisim and all manner of dirty things are no more, a place where parents will no longer say this is my own son and the other are my brother's...a place WE all share what we have with others...a place where the LOVE of GOD that is greater than all our sins are vibrant in us all...a joyful paradise earth full of God's wonders and miracles...I always dreaming of this and it shall come to pass in my own days and I am convinced...I don't care what you may think but it shall come to pass when man and lion will live in the same roof without fear for each other because of the amazing grace, the love of God which is our defender of all iniquities

It is a thought provoking question and I still have not been able to decide what can be the answer. But I would like to move towards a world where we live as "equals" instead of living on the basis of the "survival of the fittest" theory.
Also, this thread is being moved to "Culture and Identity Board" .
Warm regards
Shweta

We are going to future - and future is what we create by ourselves, future is in our hands and we are responsible to where we are going.

I doubt that!
This question is a kind of quesiton with no answer possibly given by us humans. It is a rather sophist question to contemplate upon.
Humanity, starting from its most primitive form exists since circa 4 million years. From that period the first Australopithecus afarensis, Lucy, was discovered. But if we consider humanity as such starting from its relatively contemporary form - the Cromagnons - then we have to settle on around 50,000 - 40,000 years ago.
Some scientists claim that our Earth is circa 4.6 billion years old.
Comparing the the age of the Earth and of modern humans we can see that humans cover a rather late part of the Earth's history.
But during the human era the face of the Earth has changed much more than during the rest of the Earth's previous history.
Concluding, I would say that we are heading towards many more changes and I can only hope thet those changes will not be fatal to humans themselves...

The risk of killing ourselves off is why we need to look up. Never mind all the opportunities for science and all the resources that are currently too hard to be economical to extract. Having a few groups of humans who are far enough away and self-sufficient enough to survive any war or plague on Earth would be a good thing.

Yes, certain steps are taken in that direction, one such being in Norway.
...
The Svalbard International Seed Vault will be built into a mountainside on a remote island near the North Pole.
The vault aims to safeguard the world's agriculture from future catastrophes, such as nuclear war, asteroid strikes and climate change.

Although i do believe that any scenario where humanity will be endangered will involve a nuclear crisis, in which case similar opportunities such as the Norwegian might prove rather not sufficient time-wise.

If we see conflicts in the world we are moving towards a disaster. technlogically, moving towards comfort zone. If we see the overall scenario of the world we are heading to trully big HELL.

We are heading to an end where we will be left with nothing left in our planet because we have used them up. We are going to Finish'stan.
