EQUAO = Waste Of Money

Every year the Government is using 20 million dollars in making the EQUAO, that's a lot of money just too see how you are progressing in school. This money could be used for repairing schools and getting some utensils or computers that most school need.
This money can also be used for the elementary teacher strike that has affected everyone
I wanna know wat u people think?

I think that this testing is important for the government to acess our education but i also agree that the money could go towards other thing in our education where it is more needed.

I assume that it means standardized testing. It has cost so much... I guess it's good for some, but I worry that the system isn't perfect. The idea is to make sure everyone gets the same education and that it will mean the same thing no matter where you go. The only problem is that it costs so much, and it might be better spent going into teachers, after school programs and building maintenance.
