UN Habitat - World Urban Forum and Youth - Blog!!

The Environmental Youth Alliance (EYA) organized the World Urban Forum and Youth (WUFY) in June 2006, where over 500 young leaders from around the world proposed that a Youth Fund be established. The Youth Fund would support young people in implementing projects to foster sustainable development in their communities.
We have set up a TIG Blog at www.tigblog.org/group/yld. Your comments and ideas may go into a policy brief that will be presented in Nairobi at the Governing Council meeting. We want to show decision-makers that young people have great ideas and are willing to collaborate with others to develop the skills and knowledge to turn their ideas into real projects.
The deadline for adding your comments is April 13th.
