Anit-Semites refer to Jews as 'Zionists'.
Referring to Jews as 'Zionists' is very racist.
Perhaps the reason why so many people on this thread have singled out Churchill as a racist is because they hate him for his role in bringing an end to the Holocaust?

There is no point in further arguing with you the way i see it. You keep bringing up the holocaust in a discussion board that has nothing to do with the subject. May I suggest you start a discussion board on Churchill's role in bringing an end to the holocaust.
Just to inform you, all the western nations including the US knew about the holocaust and did nothing. Two boats filled by Jews were denied in Britain and the US... ironic, i don't think so. governments only do what is in their interest in that particular time, a lot more could have been done to stop the atrocities of the holocaust...

Sorry Jaffa, if you expect me to believe that the majority of Palestinians view the holocaust as an atrocity then you must think I'm very naive.
You may view it as an atrocity, but that's just you.
My point is that the Plaestinians hate Jews and vice versa. That wont change any time soon. The Jews aren't going to leave the land and Palestinie wants to wipe Israel off the map.
The result is constant and perpertual war.

I don't understand your logic.
Also steve, you are very wrong about something (and you should not be so quick to assume you're right). Zionists and Jews are not one and the same. I'm kind of dumbfounded how you can assume Jaffa is an anti-semite when I have not heard her say anything that would suggest she is. I don't think a single person on this board except you thinks that Jaffa referred to Jews as zionists.
There is a difference between a zionist and a jew, and almost any jew will be the first person to tell you that.
I agree with Jaffa. There is not much point for further discussion with you on this topic (except for possible amusement).

It was amusing to watch you, Shmo, defend al-qaeda and condoning their tactics of terrorism on the other thread, even though you kept denying it. That sort of makes me think that you can't be taken seriously, so I don't mind what you type from now on.

Fair enough, but the racism of Muslims towards Jews in general is much greater than Churchill's racism towards the Palestinians.
And I dont really believe that the Palestinians want just an end to the occupation, where there would be a Palestinian state along side Israel. No, I belive that the Plaestinians want an end to Israel, i.e. wipe Israel off the map.
Am I wrong here?

No, see that's the goofy thing about you. I tell you (for example) that I don't condone alqaeda, but you put your fingers and your ears and go "lalalalala". I mean, you don't believe what I tell you no matter what I say, so what does it matter what I say? Seems like you do'nt want to debate at all *
And I've asked you questions on several occasions, but you don't address them. For yourself to be taken seriously, you have to address them. Notice how I usually quote (directly or indirectly) every post that I'm responding to, so they know where I stand?

I don't see how that would have been relevant to the current conversation unless you were implying that Jaffa called all Jews, zionists.

You condone the actions of al-qaeda and don't see anything wrong with their tactics.
Your posts display this clearly. You even tried to say that the civilian deaths caused by al-qaeda are mostly mistakes and unintentional.
And yet again, you said jaffa called all Jews Zionists, not me.
As to not responding to your questions, it's a waste of time to reply to messages from somebody who always changes what they said previously to suit their current argument...in other words, you're very disingenious when it comes to debating.

This is getting way off topic and out of hand. According to the quote, it seems that you have contradicted yourself as Shawn has pointed out.
I never linked all Jews to Zionists, i have many brave Jewish friends in Montreal that are anti-Zionist Jews. Judaism is a religion and should be respected along with all other spiritual beliefs!
Also I really find it hard to believe that anyone would condone the actions of al-qaeda unless you belonged to the group. their ideology is completely radical and unjustified...

Yes, it gets way out of hand when people call Jews 'Zionists' and when people condone and defend the tactics of al-qaeda.

yes i deffinatley beleive that palestinians are human beings! what else are they! i feel that winston churchhill is very ignorant stating that they are dogs. they are normal poeple but with different views on religion and life and that should never class them as non-human beings. or dogs. there should be a change in our thinking patterns. a change in the way that we class people. change means to make somthing different. so why dont we all try to cahnge the way that the palestinians have been labelled?
