each DICTATOR in the world will get his ending eventualy one way or another...Winston Churchill got his ending....and it is a tragedy that we live in a world that celebrates and honors people like him...people that kill other humen beings in the name of "War on terror"or in the jews situation...that they have the right to kill Palestinians (the TRUE people of palestine ...the people still and will KEEP fighting for their rights till the end of time).
The Ministry of Health (MOH) declared that 3,804 Palestinians were killed by the Israeli occupation forces since the outbreak of Al-Aqsa uprising. As for the number of the injuries, it reached up to 34,431.
A statistical report issued by MOH on the number of killed and the injuries, made clear that in 2002, 1,177 people were killed, 191 of them were less than the age of 18.
all of these people killed and were only talking about the death toll in a couple of years....not since 1948 when Isreali's occupied palestine...throught the lies of the "Belfour" Promise which happened way back in 1917.

Forgive me if I've mixed up my history here, but the Intifada uprising of the Palestinians was initiated and directed by Yassir Arafat. He sent boys into the streets with stones to battle Israeli troops, with the expected results. When that didn't get a Palestinian homeland, the Palestinians increased the bombings of buses, etc. Now they are shooting home-made rockets from Gaza into Israel, killing civilians. This behavior doesn't impress us in the West. We kind of have the feeling, you wanted to get killed by this behavior. Singing the praises of martyrdom also makes us think that you want to die.
What if the Palestinians had engaged in Gandhi-style resistance to Israeli occupation: boycotts, peaceful sit-ins, peaceful demonstrations? Maybe you would have gotten more sympathy from the West and pressure on Israel.
I too hope that you live to see the day when Palestinians have their own homeland. Martyrdom won't get you there.

What happened to the Palestinians while unfortunate is what usually happens when people without guns go up against people with guns. The Palestinians have a valid issue but have addressed it in a foolhardy manner. Attacking the most military capable country besides the U.S. with a few arms will never yield more that vicious and justfied reprisals.

This quote is irrelevant because we all know Churchill was racist anyway.... it seems like a rhetorical question, the question should be whether they are treated like human beings?
Answer: I don't think Palestinians are TREATED like human being as they remain occupied by a colonial state!

i think that people hate to think of themselves as a part of a nation that has "bad guys". thus, we try to forget the "bad" of these people and they often get turned into heroes in the process. it is seldom intentional, it just happens over the years. unfortunatly, by forgetting the mistakes of those before us, we often cannot learn what we need to without committing those same mistakes again and again.
it is good to take the good and leave the bad. unfortunatly, too often we fail to aknowledge that the bad was ever there in the first place. basically, churchill is a hero because we have tried to alienate ourselves from the wrongs he had committed, to forget that they were ever there and such a sad part of American history. that is why people from all veiwpoints need to ineteract--so that we won't forget that people have flaws but will be forced to aknowledge them and learn to overcome and change those flaws.
and yes, Palestinnians are human beings.

Well according to many Palastians, Jews are pigs and are sub-human. They teach there children to hate Jews and to kill them if they get the chance.
So when someone posts a thread to bring attention to Churchill's rascism, it's very hypocritical.
If anyone wants to deny the racism of the Palestians as well, that's up to you.

Last I remember, it was not the Palestinian government who perpetrated a holocaust that killed up to 6 million Jews, yet a so-called civilized western state. It was not the Palestinians who expelled Jewish people from their land in 1948 and practiced ethnic cleansing and it is not the Palestinians who continue to illegally occupy a people and deny them their full citizen rights or right of return to their homeland guaranteed under international law.Finally, It is not Palestinians who practice apartheid yet a racist state.
The point is, to say Palestinians are somehow taught to hate Jews is wrongheaded, flawed and a very Orientalist argument that fails to place anything in the socio-historic context. To be honest I think there are racists people in all cultures. If you are defending Jews, they are for example very racist towards Ethiopian Jews in Israel and even more toward Arab-Israelis who don’t even have the same civil rights! Palestinians are not against Jews but the Zionist ideology which is responsible for their continued suffering and occupation. As one former Israeli journalists (Gideon Levy) who works for the Haartez once said, Palestinian children are not taught or brainwashed to hate Jewish soldiers, yet are brainwashed by the reality on the ground.
I encourage all people to go live under Israeli occupation for just one week and see how much you would like an Israeli soldier!

The site you gave me is not working, but it is disappointing that you have nothing but probably an individual instance to say. I have not heard anything said about occupation, colonialism and apartheid. Who would you call racist, black south Africans who lived under an apartheid regime and fought against it or the whites who practiced apartheid?

When the Palestinians deny the Holocaust happend and dress their children up as suicide bombers, there's something seriously wrong with that.
But of course, many people see no problem with this...I do.

Palestinian Media Watch (great source of impartial information, that's me being sarcastic). i don't know if it is worth even checking out, but i will just to make you happy.
who are 'they' ? you are throwing all these allegations as though you are the only person who stands for human rights. "Palestinians deny the holocaust"... this could not be more untrue.. I am Palestinians and think it was a extreme tragedy and crime against humanity, but this has nothing to do with what is happening now. It was Nazi Germany who did the holocaust. Why is it that Zionists always use the holocaust argument to justify their treatment of Palestinians? Palestinian-Israelis in Nazareth have even gone as far as opening a holocaust museum! Please refuse from using works as 'they' because it is a dangerous path and weak argument.

Yet how do you explain the terrorism acts caused by Canadians such as the FLQ and Christine Lamont/David Spencer?
Or maybe we should discuss radical Canadian groups such as The Order of the Solar Temple? Burning a BABY??
Seems like Canadians have quite the black mark if you pay any attention. Perhaps people should be careful of Canadians, too.
