What is Your opinion on the TDSB teacher strike

I think this so called 'strike' has to end because we students are no longer incapable of staying after school for activities, extra help,etc. and we are not allowed to come early to finish projects and for help on tests.
What do u people think?

I agree,we can't go in the morning for homwork help.i hope it ends soon.

Ya, i agree with you to. The teacher strike needs to end soon. People can't come in the morning or stay after school for extra activities and help.

That's right! This teacher strike thing has to end soon. Students aren't allowed to come in early in the morning anymore because of this. Some people wants to come in early to school to finish homework that they dont understand but they arent allowed to anymore. Or to finish up projects. also, students arent allowed to stay in after school too. We can join anymore activities that use to be available to us. In addition we cant stay in after school for additional help. For these reasons the strike should end soon. It's effecting the students as well.

Hey all,
I might not be involved or be a party in that teachers' strike but I can give some insight.
We have also had a number of strikes here in Kenya for both High schools and Universities. For high schools and primary schools we had teachers strike for over a month and and no student was to attend school during that period and we had two schools destructed because the students continued attending classes. The reason behind it all was the low salary pay for the teachers over a long period and that was their way to make their voices heard. It might be the right way, but it was the only option left.
The university strikes involve students. One just occured recently where a student got shot. Too Sad, but they were fighting for their right, though through the wrong process.
Maybe you will have to find out why your teachers are stricking and once you fit in their shoes then you can air your views.

I agree that the strike is a major inconvenience to us students. We can't come in early for extra help or stay after school for assignments. Hopefully, the strike will conclude soon!!!
