I really want to see it. But I want to know how "good" it really is. I read the book...is it worth watching the movie? What do you guys think?

it is a disaster - extremely poor.

I am friends with one of the actors in it who says the whole experience was a joke.

Hi everyone!
it can be poor as thematic, but it was really good in point of animations, especially scenically.. I liked Saphira smile I think, it is a nice movie for teenagers.. wink

I suggest reading the book and not seeing the movie. The movie is too fast pace. 3 days after being born the dragon seems to suddenly be all grown up (just an example).

I read the book and saw the movie. No the movie isn't amazing or true to the book in any way. However it is great fun. I read the book with my brother as a way to get him into reading, and we saw the movie together too. It's just cool to watch an animated dragon flash her scales over your head, and I really like the way they did saphira her voice included special effects wise it turned out great. So don't expect a master piece, but if you want to see it it's not a complete waste of money.
