Other members, pls. do not be turned away from what i write for i am a "radical" in my words and thought.
I took a quick look at the sites listed above home pages and the word that stuck out the most was "equitable" on the OXFAM site. It would take me hours to read and understand all that they spill and/or offer!
Funds, always in need of course, can only come from a few sources. Governments (they have their own programs), another NGO (is not OXFAM another NGO?), Religion (they need it for their own causes, projects), Business (where and how did they manage to get so much wealth in the first place?, good P.R. gimick) and wealthy individuals (same as business).
As money is always needed to help the most in need (the poor, cheated, betrayed, ignored) i would vote to get it from those who obviously have the most or too much! Who needs to be worth more then $2 Million (CAD) anyway?
It is the other side of the coin that everyone is afraid to single out!
We cannot do that unless we are good government. We are not nor trying to bee, therefor we wont.
Simple problems require simple solutions.
The same questions has been asked for centuries by all those who care!
1) -Where is the money?
2)-Why should the pyramids of wealth and poverty exist or be kept?

The most important factors which need consideration-in my considered opinion- are
1. Environmental Sustainability
2. Respect for Human Rights
3.Good Governance and Global Ethics
and the last but not least
4.Good Corporate Social Resposibility framework.
Thanks.
I'll be back soon.

I agree with selomselom. You should (TIG) also ask your self and try to answer the following questions:
Does TIG have the same mission, vision or objectives concerning the community development projects with the corporations you want to partner with? Do you blend well? Can you form a formidable combination with the capacity of managing the projects all through to success? What value are you going to add on the projects? For how long is the partnership going to exist, is it throughout the whole project or is it on a particular phase of the projects? What is going to be your role? Will you be required to source for funds at any particular time?

It should also consider the following:
1)Creation of employment oppprtunities
2)Eradication of illetracy in most developing countries.
3)Coordination between developed countries and developing countries in eradicating poverty.

We are definitly off track here.
A, cup of tea for me, asked us which of the above options or avenues should we take. The links were there for us to read and provide feedback. both positive and negative.
Which Wall-Mart or money did you want TIG to partner up with?
There are many members here to are taking up law, economics, accounting, government, and again those in the volunteering caring nursing and doctoring business.
Who should take the responsibility to assemble the charts and control post the info.!
To offer another alternative is another monkey wrench to a good question which deserves work from a few us if not most!
Do we dare develop our own? Do like some religions, give/commit 10% of your salary and let the membership decide how the money is spent!
You do not need a high priced CEO or President to run things. Shit i would do IT for $50 K per year. That is an almost around the clock wotk shift. Then i would give back to the project my 10% of those earnings as well.
Project 10 Billion sees further and more broadly then the UNs MDG.

We should consider sustainability
Goals
Impact on the lives of yong people
Poverty eradication and the ability to empower people and help strenghten youth voice.
Most importantly we have to look at the environmental impact and its ability to end poverty!

Selomselom and Datteku have the right idea. Before Taking It Global can even begin to approach a corporation, be it a multinational corporation or a smaller scale local business, Taking It Global needs to review its own mission and vision as an organization. It must also review the mission, vission and goals of the community development project itself.
A good partnership will share the same vision and mission and goals to the project that will enhance the status of both Taking It Global and the corporation. This partnership should be sustainable over years to come with participation from both parties (a partnership should never be one sided).
When approaching the corporation TIG should preview their corporation social responsibility policies, impact that the corporation has in their community and the potential to grow. Many corporations outline how and where they would like to get involved.

First , the corporations must be informed about how the project brings benifits to them ,both directly and indirectly and how their workforce get benifited.
